Honey Bee Weddings is a wedding and event company that specializes in sustainable luxury. Honey Bee Weddings has experience in nonprofit events including galas and has been apart of the planning team for the James Beard Foundation Awards since 2017. We also specialize in cultural weddings, with experience in Indian, South Asian, Korean, Filipino and Nigerian weddings. Honey Bee Weddings produces events in Chicago and is available for travel.

Honey Bee Weddings has appeared on WCIU and Me in the Mornings as well as being published in The New York Times, Martha Stewart, Modern Luxury Weddings, Chicago Social Brides, Brides Chicago, and Get Married. Online, our weddings have been featured in Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cake, and Elizabeth Anne Designs.

Owner Misse Daniel is a professor at Loyola University Chicago and teaches Introduction to Special Events. She has spoken professionally at the University of Chicago Women in Business conference. Misse is the Director of Programs for the National Association of Catering and Events (NACE) Chicago chapter and the Membership Chairperson for the Green Wedding Alliance (GWA). She volunteers with the Girl Scouts of America and serves on their Associate Board.
