Using Potted Plants in your Wedding Decor

Including potted plants in your decor is a great way to decorate your wedding venue and reduce organic waste. Lush ferns, trailing vines, and flowering plants can bring life and personality to the day and be taken home by guests as keepsakes.

Hanging Pieces

Hanging baskets and mounted ferns are a great way to fill empty wall and ceiling space. Using a range of textures and shapes can add interest to otherwise unused spaces adding ambiance and mood.

Be sure to check in with your venue about preferred hanging methods.

Outdoor Planters

Using lush landscape plants is a wonderful addition to outdoor weddings. A wide range of colors and styles are available to work alongside your wedding florals and won't wilt on a hot day. These plants can stand alone, or act as a base for focal flowers. A very ecological choice and can be enjoyed for the whole season. Make sure to add a morning water to the wedding day to-do list.

Table Decor

Incorporating plants into your table decor adds dimension to your tablescapes and is a great talking point for guests. Affordable options include herbs and cacti, while orchids and small topiaries may be more comparable in price to standard wedding arrangements. It’s even less wasteful when offered to guests at the end of the event.

Symbolizing life, growth, health, and abundance, plants can grow with you and your partner long after your nuptials are complete!
